Hey there, this is me and my beautiful wife, Unnati. We live in Bangalore, India but we both hail from Uttar Pradesh and brought up in different parts of the country. We're both working professionals - I work with an early stage startup in creator-led commerce whereas Unn works at Adobe as a Product Manage in the Gen AI space. We both love traveling and make sporadic plans to travel whenever time permits.

Now that we travel as a couple and Unn hasn't tried CS yet, we are open to meeting locals in our next trip to Scandinavia (Denmark, Sweden and Norway) this month and eventually start hosting at our house when we're back. We are both super friendly and easy going. She loves to cook with me as her sous chef always. We are both vegetarians and extremely fond of Asian and Italian cuisine. I'm into badminton and strength training whereas Unn is into meditation and yoga. We speak fluent English and Hindi, have a lot of travel stories to share and hold deep interest in understanding the local culture.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

I tried CS in 2015 while on my first ever trip to Germany. Lucky to have been hosted by some of the most incredible people. The idea of making a stranger feel at home in a foreign land by offering your time/space or both is an incredible concept and purest form of building connections. There's nothing like the company of a local who knows the place inside-out and can show you around with added details one wouldn't even find in the books or the internet.

I've also tried my hands with hosting and have managed to meet some very interesting people. Few of them are still very good friends and I get to meet them whenever I am in their respective cities.
