Overview
About Me
I am an Indian who wants to travel a lot. I am not a frequent traveler, just started traveling after 22 years of my life.
I recently spent a memorable month in Europe. Met lots of new people, made new friends, Spent time with friends, spent Christmas with the family of a friend in Andalusian(South Spanish) countryside.
I like going to quiet and calm places, for which I love countryside a lot. Occasional Partying is a must though.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to meet a lot of new people. People from around the world. Recently I made quite a lot of friends using different means, but I haven't used couchsurfing much. I think this should be a good way to get to know many people.
Interests
I love swimming, reading, mainly fiction. Also a Cycling Enthusiast and history buff. Like to process and store a lot of information at once.
I can also call myself a food explorer. Wherever I am I like to have the typical food of that place. I have tried a bit of Dutch, French food and a lot of Spanish food. Though I am an expert in various types of Indian cuisines.
Music, Movies, and Books
I love Ghazals(please google) and Sufi Music.
Among popular singers and bands in English, I like Enrique Iglesias, Westlife, Green Day. I also like the really intense Flamenco music.
Dan Brown and Amish Tripathi are my favorite authors.
I watch movies but not so frequently.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I traveled around Europe without planning and met a lot of amazing new people and made a lot of new friends.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can help with Sanskrit. It is one of the oldest surviving language and I am happy that I know it. On the other hand I am open to any kind of learning experience. recently I started learning Spanish because I found it to be a really beautiful language with my stay in Spain.
