I have the romantic idea that traveling should be about seeing sights, experiencing things, but also interacting with people. I'm also on somewhat of a budget. Even while walking at a turtle's pace with my 50 lbs bag, I sometimes feel that I'm missing a lot.

I can cook a nice meal, offer interesting conversation in English or French and am happy to give a crash course on Biology, Evolution, Ecology, Programming or Vegan Nutrition. In addition I'm pretty handy with tools and I know a a bit about plumbing. I'm also ready to try and help with PC problems (I don't know much about Macs).
