Music, Movies, and Books

I tend toward speculative fiction or scifi on books: Octavia Butler, Dune, Ray Bradbury, His Dark Materials (hallelujah, it's being rebooted!) also J.D. Salinger and anything to do with buddhist philosophy or the behavioral sciences.

Give me anything with a banjo, mandolin or accordion in it and I'll give you my ear. Nickel Creek/Punch Brothers, Shakey Graves, Bon Iver, Hot Damn Scandal, but also SZA, Frank Ocean, Childish Gambino, Chance the Rapper.

Movies/TV: I'd probably watch Arrival on repeat forever. Really dig High Maintenance, Stranger Things, The Man in the High Castle, Black Mirror in terms of TV.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bike tour of the west coast! Perhaps my most fulfilling travel experience to date.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: How to make homemade yogurt? Rudimentary bicycle maintenance?
Learn: Other languages. Really want to learn how to read/play music.
Share: The cooking!
