ABOUT ME

I am currently doing my MA on Translation. 2nd year, and loving it! I lived for a year in France, and did some backpacking for the summer before returning home. Getting settled has got me a bit tied-up (travel-speaking), so I'm currently just kind of enjoying the adventures I hear from new people I get to know through time.

I decided to join the program because up 'til now the best traveling experiences i've had are when i'm with someone who actually belongs to the city i'm visiting. i would really like to broaden my backpacking experiences by meeting not just the city... but the people also, the ones who actually spice up and enlighten your trip.

兴趣

Traveling and learning (FROM and BY others), vegging out and sleeping usually are my favorite sports (!!)... but I also enjoy having a nice chat with anybody, anywhere... watching a good movie... random jokes... a good laugh... a good drink/beer... coffee... and anything chocolate !!

Movies/TV Series: Chunking Express, Wit, Garden State, Metrópolis, Closer, Nightmare before Christmas, Death at a funeral (I'm not that much into comedies normally, but that one's HILARIOUS !!)... Friends, Nip/Tuck, I recently started watching Green Wing... and I'm still laughing !!

Books: Niebla, Cien años de Soledad, The Kite Runner, tales by Edgar Allan Poe

Music: Coldplay, Jorge Drexler, Natalie Imbruglia, Jack Johnson, Aterciopelados, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs (they are simply the best latin rock band EVER), Garbage, the Cranberries, Radiohead, Dave Mathews Band, Arianne Moffat, Nouvelle Vague, Gabriel Ríos, Pink Martini, Gustavo Cerati...and so on!

For the moment, living in a place so far away from home has been my most memorable experience. Lille is a great city, and the locals are just adorable.
