About Me

ABOUT ME

I can confidently say that they'd say positive things; being that I haven't seen them in a while... At that, they'd tell you I hate wearing shoes, I love exploring wilderness, and (used the oxford coma there) my love of physical challenge is only rivaled by my need to talk about the universe (physics to philosophy). It may also be noted that I'm a happy yet overly-adventurous when intoxicated.

Interests

I love being lost. Aside from that, I love surviving.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I coached an opponent through our collegial wrestling match. We both fought unnaturally hard.

I played "tag" with a young doe. We ran through the woods for several minutes that felt like hours.

My friend and I trekked miles through a summer storm in the middle of the night. It was very hard to see each other (or anything) while we moved through the forest. We waded through streams and pushed through thorns. There was an increased visibility given with our entry into each open field which only allowed us a couple meters of visibility. After hours of going between fields, streams, and fields; we peaked a wooded hill which broke at the edge of a wheat field. From this wood-line, we looked down and saw the iridescent glow of a small town lights in the heavy rain. There was a peacefulness to that time. The air was clean. The rain pushed down with unrivaled tenacity. It was warm and comforting. My thin clothes were holding it close to me like the embrace of an old friend. If nirvana is meant to be achieved, I was standing with it - right then. I was sixteen years old then and I have yet to feel that invigoration since. I'm twenty-three now so I'm thinking there's time, yet.
