Overview
About Me
Currently a geologist, but looking into pursuing future possibilities in the creative fields. I am mostly into writing, photography, videography, graphic design, and handcrafting. And I do find travelling, especially the bit where you get to make new friends and connections, the best catalyst to find inspiration to produce something worth sharing.
Personality-wise, I'm an INFJ, although sometimes it's a close tie with ENFP. Hogwarts house is between Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff. It's hard to sort myself into boxes and I wouldn't want to either. :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I only started to solo travel in 2017 when I was living in Canada. It was a solo trip from the east coast to the west coast of the country (well, the continent as well actually!) and frankly, I think the Couchsurfing bit was the part that really got me hooked up with solo travelling ever since.
Being on this platform has offered me some of the most rewarding moments of my life, no matter how cliche it sounds. It has changed not only the ways I see the world, but also how I look at myself and understand myself and the world better.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Mostly indie pop, alternative, Britpop, 90s golden songs (at least this is what my Mom calls them). Also it would be my personal pilgrimage if I get to watch Sufjan Stevens live one day.
Movies: So many. My fav was mostly of the coming-of-age genre. My recent absolute fav one was The Worst Person in the World.
Books: Currently trying to finish Solve for Happy by Mo Gawdat.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I made more than a couple of dozen of new friends during my first post-pandemic solo travel to the UK, Ireland, and around back in Spring 2022. By friends I mean people whom I did exchange contacts with and keep in touch with as well. :) But it's not even the statistics that made it amazing - it's the renewed sense of appetite for life and getting one step closer to figuring out who I am and what I wanted to do with my life, following the previous two dreadful years. And Couchsurfing sure had a lot to contribute to it.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Thought-provoking conversations. I promise I am a good conversationalist (with the right people!) even though I am a self-proclaimed introvert. I enjoy spending time processing my thoughts on topics about life, spirituality, love, well-being, and quite a wide range of miscellaneous topics.
