Tried as many things in life as I could to find joy and happiness, could not find any thing more fun than spending time with people and having a good talk. I am Adnan from Egypt. I am currently working as a research assistant in materials science in TU Darmstadt. I like travelling and meeting new people big time. I am set to make the most out of my time in life exploring the beauty of life and people. I am open minded and always looking forward to breaking the routine in my life by trying new things and meeting new people to exchange ideas and stories. Talking to people is the thing that brings me most joy among all the things I do. That is why I am looking forward to meeting new people of CS.

I believe everyone of us is the collection of all the people they meet in their life with every one leaving a small impact on our personality and shaping it to the way it is. That is why I would love to meet more open minded people who love and enjoy their journey in life and are willing to share even a few hours with others and include them in their life journey. That is why I would love to share experiences and learn from the people I meet on CS.

As a host, I would like to help people who are travelling on a tight budget to find a place to stay in Darmstadt because the lack of enough money to stay at a hostel or an Airbnb should not stop any one from having the journey they want to have. (I have been there and know that feeling)

As a traveler, I really love it when I see the city I am visiting through the eyes of the people who are living there. I do not like the lists of must visit places and Youtube guides because I believe that in each city, there are hidden treasures that are always missing from these lists. And, I would love to discover these treasures and share stories with people I meet about the city and their life journey in general.

Música, películas y libros

Music: I enjoy all types of music. My favorite bands are Coldplay and Queen. I also enjoy instrumental music mainly Ibrahim Maalouf.

Movies and series: I love movies that with well-written multidimensional characters. My favorites are The social network, Breaking bad and Game of thrones.

Books: Mainly, I like non fiction books. I am not into novels that much. So, I prefer reading books on philosophy, psychology and self help books(because they make me feel better even they are not based on any scientific evidence).

Algo increíble que he hecho

Hmm tough one! Okay, when I was 27, I did not know how to ride a bike at all. So, I bought a bike and challenged my self to do a 100km bike ride. Managed to do it after a year, 100 km ride with 1000m elevation. That was big for me.

I would love to share stories, experiences and views about life and various subjects with you. I really enjoy a good talk. I like cooking so much especially cooking Egyptian recipes (vegan and non vegan) for others to try. I like also learning recipes from other cuisines. So, cooking together will be something I am looking forward to.
