ABOUT ME

Just moved back to Costa Rica... Updating my info soon... I am a person who likes to learn about everything and open my horizons... being a Costarrican, I decided to come to the Netherlands to study because I wanted to live in Europe for some years, and be able to get both a good education and a great cultural experience. Right now I am doing a PhD at Delft University of Technology

PHILOSOPHY

Learning, seeing, walking... try to be as open as possible, while getting to my objectives. I love to learn what is good in any culture.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I got involved in this because most of my friends in Europe highly recommended CS to me. I have hosted friends of friends who had recommended this to me as well. I would like to receive people and give it a try in getting to a new country

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed with friends who do couchsurfing, and hosted friends of friends in couchsurfing but never "surfed" myself. I guess a trip is still pending :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Big Fish, Lord of the Rings, Amelie, El Lado Oscuro del Corazón. Music: Trova (by far my favorite), rock, salsa (to dance)... but in general appreciate anything.
Books: Don Quijote, anything by García Márquez... many things, I love to read, and become easily a friend of people who love to read too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Getting to know places I read about and that have been important in history. Being a passionate person about history myself, seen myself in places like the Kremlin or the Forbidden City got me speechless.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love discussing about history and culture, to be inquired about my country (Costa Rica) or about the experience here in the Netherlands. Love space engineering (doing studies about it here in Delft) so I love that too.
