About Me
We are a local community in a peaceful Maya village San José, very close to Flores, near the lake Maya Itza. Our plan is to demonstrate the real Guatemalan lifestyle, and share ancient Maya knowledge with you, while you can support the poor families living here.
Therefore we have many workshops with them: Spanish classes, Maya language classes, coconut and avocado oil making, Mayan food, hammoc making, medicinal plants, traditional chocolate, Mayan calendar, and a jungle trek to the fantastic Mirador, etc.
We ask you kindly to support us with 20 quetzal for a night and if you share food with us some contribution for that as we cannot afford to have guests without that financial help (for example we want to buy you agua pura we normally dont have etc)
So if you want meet lovely local familys and recognise deeply this culture dont hesitate to write me!
Some options availble here are:
-One night per person 20 quetzal
-One breakfast, lunch & dinner 45 quetzal total
-A work shop for making coconut oil 2 days (3hrs one day, 2hrs day two) 120quetzal
-A work shop for making avacado oil 2 days (1hr day one, 1hr day two) 100 quetzal
