Overview
About Me
20 years me: discover the world, travel as much as I want. My four walls are not enough to me, I want to open my eyes to the diversity of our world. And of course make as many friends of around the world. Also, I want to finish my studies.
"Toda determinación es una negación".
Current me: I am really interested in memory, especially as collectives: how do we create frames to remember some particular event of our past? How do we face a traumatic experience as a community? How do we choose what to forget? In simpler words, I'm really into the politics of memory; that's one of the main reasons why I love to travel: it allows me to have a sensorial experience on how every community does that.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because it makes sense. It's a wonderful idea to meet people from every corner of the world. Also, as we travel, we need a place to stay. Sometimes it is me, sometimes it is someone else, but it is amazing to know that you may rely on someone no matter where you are. Besides that, to me, this represents one of the purest ways to experience our existence: the openness to the Other. It's only you, facing the other, with the only mediation being the solidarity towards someone that you recognize as existent.
Interests
Writing, reading, traveling, philosophy, photography and, breathing. Also, to learn new languages and to meet new cultures. I'm always open to every possibility. That's life and creation: an eternal cycle.

Music, Movies, and Books
Post-rock, progressive rock, jazz, ambient. However, I'm really into everything, so if you to look into my playlist you'll find a complete and beautiful mess made off incongruous rhythms.
I have a letterboxd profile if you want to plunge into my taste of movies: https://letterboxd.com/Adolfgam/
Some of my favorite writers are Le Clezio; Garro; Saer; M. Enríquez; F. Melchor. I love to read almost everything, but mostly I'm into novels, short-stories, poetry and essays. I have an Instagram account where I write small reviews on the books I read.
