About Me

Hi everyone! You can call me Adora or Chin Ying. I'm a girl from Malaysia.

I'm a very typical Sagittarius girl. Yet, I'm introvert (extroverted introvert to be precise)

I'm not really speak much but I always listen to other people story, bad or good one. I like to laugh and a people who easy to get hyped!
My daily life now is working in the office during the weekday. In the weekend, I'll be going to visit my friends and my family, or having my own personal time to attend some courses or do some reading (to improve myself)

Everyone likes music, so do I. I'm a crazy fan for EDM (Electric Dance Music)! *not that scary crazy type 😝
EDM has changed my life and my perspective to live. Because of EDM, I knew a lot of friends and then we become best friends now.
Since I listen to EDM, I started to open my heart to other people, spread my love to them, always stay positive in my life.

However, I like other type of music too, eg. Pop, Jazz/Vintage and Classical music. Classical music makes me wanna learn piano so much!

If you like Jazz/Vintage, go YouTube search Diana Panton! I like her so much! Especially, her version of Tea For Two! I can repeat it all day long!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE: ONCE

I like to meet new friends, even though i'm shy. I like listen to the story from each people.

But what makes me to go CS is, I read a book which is talking about his travel story in Europe. (It's a chinese book) He said, he doesn't want travel like a tourism but he want to experience the local lifestyle, culture and people. It turns out, he had a very amazing trip in Europe.

I hope I can travel like him.

Until July 2015, I had my first CS experiece. I have to say I did feel shy! But, I felt more comfortable in the second day of CS. Had a movie night with the host and we talked!

I believe it will get much more better as my CS experience increases!

Interests

Singing.
Watching movie
and RAVING!!

One more thing is that, I'm trying to read more books, to increase my knowledge. After graduating and start working, I notice that there're so many things that I do not know. Through reading, I can reach out to this world more closer!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movie:-
My favourite movies are more to romantic: One Day , The Notebook and Me Before You. All these movies are kinda sad. But that's true love which you can barely found in this world now.

Music:
Hardstyle, Techno, Trance, Progressive House.
Other than EDM, I have to say, the music in One Day movie is not bad as well! Lovely!
Of course, Classical and Jazz/Vintage!

Books:-
I read a lot of LiuYong's books. He is a Taiwanese and have two children. I like the series that he wrote about his two children. The way how he educate his children is GOLD!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Europe for 25 days! Although, I was going with my friends but some of times, I was exploring the city alone! Hence, I met some awesome and lovely friends when I was alone!

I went to Ultra Europe 2015 and Tomorrowland 2015! I have to say Tomorrowland was so awesome! The people, the music, the atmosphere! Everything just wants you to stay in Tomorrowland forever!

Ultra Europe 2015 was awesome too because of the people I raved with! The music, the moment we shared together! We hugged each other and enjoyed the happiness of music. Sat on the shoulders, hold our hands and raised the flags! Ahhh. Too many beautiful moments in Ultra Europe 2015. <3

Update! Been to Europe again in 2016 and 2017 and US in 2018! And which was more AWESOME than last year! Will share to you if we meet!

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:-
The things I can teach you language (my mother language, Chinese) and cooking (Chinese food). And I's still trying to improve myself in these two things (y)

Learn:-
I learned many things when I was travelling in Europe. I noticed that the culture is so much different from Malaysia. Also, in my daily life, anyone can be my mentor as there's must have smth that we can learn from other people.

Share:-
Sharing my quote for traveling here:
"Don't be afraid when you're travelling or you might miss out so many beautiful things and people which surrounded you.
At the same time, be humble and have fun."
