ABOUT ME
I'm a 24-year old student of philosophy, sociology and german literature. I love reading and writing - and walks in the countryside, (punk)concerts, watching and playing theatre, discussing, learning, cupcakes, cats, sheep, the sea, films, pasta, tea, pink hair, travelling and freetime.

Interests
I'm interested in a critical reflection of society and I enjoy reading books by critical authors, e.g. on critical theory, anarchism and feminism. I try to find new ways of being free and enjoying life despite work and other constraints. At the moment I'm trying out some "do it yourself"-stuff like fanzines, stencils and altering shirts.
I enjoy spending my time reading and watching dvds at home, writing at the library, meeting friends, going for long walks in the countryside or through the streets of the city, hanging out at nice places like an autonomous centre and enjoying concerts and discussions.

Music, Movies, and Books
There are too many favourite books, films and bands to write them down here, but here are a few clues ;-)
I love books which are different from ordinary realistic novels. They should play and experiment with language and surprise the reader.
E.g. James Joyce, Marcel Proust, Robert Musil, Rainer Maria Rilke, Elfriede Jelinek.
My favourite philosophers are those in the critical-marxian tradition, especially Theodor W. Adorno.
My favourite music is Punk (classic 77, riot Grrrl, Hardcore...), but I also like (rock) music from the sixties and seventies and folk music. Some Indie too.
With films it's the same as with books - I like most the experimental and unusual ones - from Charlie Chaplin to Lars von Trier. But I'm generally interested in film and I also like less unusual ones ;-)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent two semesters at University College Dublin, Ireland. It was a great experience! I enjoyed meeting so many new people from all over the world and discovering a new city. I loved exploring the Irish countryside and experiencing nature by hiking.
