我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I have only surfed in the lower 48 and haven't had a place of my own to be able to host yet, but I'm finally in a situation that allows me to and I look forward to being able to help out and meet other surfers!

兴趣

When I'm not working I like to spend my time outdoors: hiking, biking, climbing, camping, exploring, and traveling. I enjoy good food and drinks, especially coffee, beer, and wine. Oh, and dessert! I also enjoy reading, watching movies, going to concerts, and walking around town.

At 31 years old, I finally learned how to swim! It took a while to overcome the fear of drowning after falling through the ice on a creek as a child! But I did it!

And this may not seem like much, but when I moved to Oregon, I packed what could fit in my car and not knowing a soul, I made the 32 hour drive across the country and stayed in a tent until I found a more permanent place to live.
