About Me

Hey there! My name is Adrianna, but my friends call me Ada, it's easier. I am 27 years old and I live in Warsaw with my husband and our baby daughter Celina. I run a small language school, which focuses on teaching English in kindergartens. Guests who would like to join our classes for a day or two are highly welcome! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I believe this is the right thing to do. I absolutely admire to stay at people's homes during my travels and I want to make it possible for others.

All of my CS experiences were unique and exceptional. There are no "better" and "worse", each time is different and great in its own way. I still stay in touch with some of my previous hosts, some people I met during my travels visited me later in Warsaw or in Jakarta, when I was living there.

I think I can say that CouchSurfing became my way of living :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I can tell you which book is my favorite from those I read last month, but decide which is the best I read in my life is not possible ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

BIG things:
1) I moved out home and I started to live on my own when I was 15
2) In age of 21 I went for one year to Asia with my boyfriend (now husband). We traveled for 4 months and later we stayed in Jakarta, Indonesia for another 8 months. I found a job there as a kindergarten teacher in international school.

And when I travel I do amazing things almost every day. I ate a crab for the first time in my life with a Chinese family during very official and very fancy dinner, I climbed rocks in biggest karst on Earth in China (and second time in second biggest krast on Earth in Indonesia), I drove moto-cross in volcano National Park in Indonesia, I climbed Rinjani volcano (3726m), I had unbelievable hitch-hiking stories many, many times and I finally learned how to eat with hands.

And you - when was the last time you did something for the first time?

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share and teach language skills, I can cook for you and I would be very happy if I can eat something you cooked for me, but for me most valuable are experiences. Knowledge I get from other peoples is best thing they can offer me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Well, what I have a lot during my travels is my... time! I can help you with cleaning your apartment, I can cook for you, do some shopping etc. And of course if there's somewhere a bottle of wine to share, I am always on duty! ;)))
