ABOUT ME

All about me??? I'll keep it to what I do now. Currently I am doing graduate school in statistical genetics at the university Queensland, Brisbane. I spend most of my time in the books or in front of my computer screen. I enjoy riding my bike to work and practicing yoga.
I was born in Vancouver, Canada to a Mexican couple. Spanish is my native tongue.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I recently moved to a new country and I am slowly settling-in so I am under the radar. When I had my place in Vancouver I had the doors opened and hosted many great people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Summers in Vancouver came with lots of travelers/surfers and I hosted folks from around the globe. To this moment I haven't surfed a couch yet!

Interests

At the moment my main interests are in learning biology, I have former education in the mathematical sciences so my approach is related to the emerging field of bioinformatics.
I can not stop being fascinated by how we have evolved to be. Science is fun!
I also try to learn Russian, I used to exchage Russian lessons for Spanish lessons but I moved to Brisbane. Anyone around interested in this deal?

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Eastern European and Iranian films. Same goes for music and I will add to the list the all time favourite Silvio Rodriguez (for those who understand Spanish).
