Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Started surfing in spring 2012 while in the US, basically as our last hope: because of a stupid festival called Cherry Blossom festival the whole city of Washington D.C. was full with tourists and no more free hostels. But thanks to Leo we had a wonderful surfing experience. Since then, I hosted a few times whenever I lived back in Munich and Singapore and surfed some more times while in Asia. Actually I had my best surfing experience in Kuala Lumpur with Hong Kah because it was not only a one time thing, but we met over and over again (for hiking or crazy hindu festivals or enjoying the food...) while I lived in Singapore (just 4 hours away by bus) and I was even able to bring my whole family to his house when they visited me. Incredible...
