I'm Adrian and I'm from Australia. I am half Irish and plan to live and travel in Europe as my next chapter in life.
I've travelled Europe twice now as I loved it the first so much and quit those jobs so search for something more. I love to travel, submerge in new culture, meet new people and experience new life lessons. I take everything day by day and to see what will life throw at me.

Most recently, I've just experienced the FIFA World Cup in Russia. (That was a massive bucket list item checked!) And I'm still travelling! I am looking to settle down in Germany over the next month but just trying to find the right place for me :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This application is the perfect way to meet new people, in-particular local people. I want to get more from a tourist perspective. I would like experience life from a local household and immerse in their culture as best I can. Whether that is going to local pubs, mixing with sportsfans, finding off the beaten track gems that a city oftens hides.

Music, Movies, and Books

Everywhere I go, I take music with me. Who can live without it! I can listen to just about anything but what I like most lies between rock/punk. There's a segment on Triple J (Australian Radio Station) in which I try to never miss, even when travelling, is called Short, Fast, Loud. Look it up!

I like to watch movies. My interests spread across a number of genres Comedy to Action to Horror and Doco's.

I haven't been a massive reader but I like history and biographies (in-particular sportsman).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Quitting my job to travel. Twice!
Tandem Paragliding in Austria.
Snowboarding for the first time in 2017, and not being useless at it!
Attend the FIFA World Cup in Russia 2018.
Visit the ghost town of Chernobyl/Pripyat.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm quite a relaxed bloke who enjoys a few beers, watching the football and good conversation.
