I have been in Australia since 1969 and travelling within Australia is all I have really done.
Before I arrived I had lived in Hong Kong and UK but I don't remember it.
Being married since 1992 my wife and I have spend most of our years raising our 4 children 2 of which are still at home. We now have 3 wonderful grandchildren who are just so awesome.
I went to school like everyone else, started a trade as a cabinet maker (but didn't finish it) I discovered I was more enterprising than being a factory worker (nothing wrong with factory workers)
So I embarked on a career in photography, I started a few different small business's until 2009 when I became a hypnotherapist... Yes I'm a real hypnotist!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have his idea of travelling around Australia (maybe other countries) doing hypnosis comedy shows because everyone needs to have a good laugh.
So looking at couchsurfing as a way of meeting and staying with people would make my travels more exciting and a lot less lonely as I'm use to having my family around me.
I find myself being drawn to a few different countries England, Hong Kong, The Cayman Islands and of course home here in Australia.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like most genres of music except the stuff that sounds like someone is screaming or choking... I can never tell the difference :/
As for movies action movies are great for just hanging out, comedies great for laugh, and even those romantic ones are on my list.
Books I'm more into the self improvement type over fiction.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Because I know my way around a kitchen I really don't mind cooking a meal.
Good conversation is very important because I feel that getting to know someone is what creates lasting memories.
