Music, Movies, and Books
The internet is too small for me to say what I would about music, but I'll list a few that I often listen to: Parkway Drive, Killswitch Engage, A Day To Remember, Blink182, Rise Against, Sum41, Everclear, Louis Armstrong, BB King, Skrillex, Scottish & Irish Folk music, local live music, I don't listen to my own music much, but mainly play classical & flamenco guitar for enjoyment.
I mostly enjoy Non-Fiction reading, but when a story is desired I love the work of Douglas Adams, Clive Cusler, Frederick Forsyth, Robert Ludlum and certainly not L Ron Hubbard.
Movie wise, I like the ones I have to watch several times to understand or sometimes dark humor/satirical comedy, Also partial to Sci-Fi/action films if they aren't too cheesy. Love world movies (Cantonese/Japanese mainly) and pretty much anything with time travel/floating timeline.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Survived Y2K or perhaps saving several hundred Canadian/UK/Australian/Afghan soldiers & journalists from IEDs & ambushes in the middle east.
Actually scratch that, I... can tie my own shoe laces!
Teach, Learn, Share
My father was a Primary School Teacher, and my sister is a High School English Literature & History teacher. I was over educated as a kid, and now constantly have peaceful debates/discussions with many friends & family. I don't tolerate racism gender bias or complete ignorance/mass media propaganda. I'm very accepting of people in general and often surprised what I can learn from others.
Especially like exchanging musical ideas & overall philosophies.
I can also teach travelers about pretty much everything about Australia if they wish to be prepared for travel to other parts of the country (Exc Tasmania/WA).
What I Can Share with Hosts
A peaceful place to stay if I am the host/a stable quiet guest who will respect your privacy and ensure no mess is made. Food & entertainment.
