Hola! We are Sonia and Adri, your friendly Couchsurfers from Spain,
actually living in the Canary Islands and moving soon to Madrid.

Sonia is a newcomer nurse from Alcalá de Henares, and I work at a Regional TV Station as a CCU Operator (Camera Control Unit).

We are chill guys who both strongly love travelling to new countries - getting lost sometimes-, discovering different cultures, getting to know the local people, have fun and share good moments and stories. We are into movies, cooking, trying new food, boardgames, videogames -and just games in general-.

I'm an aspiring filmaker/ photographer/ music lover/ art enthousiast/ bad jokes teller/ lil a bit a gamer. I like playing guitar and ukulele, cinema and arts in general, i used to rap, freestyle, and enjoy jam sessions and sports
Sonia is crazy about animals -specially cats- she loves cooking, partying sometimes, going to the movies any day of the year and she loves make up, being really good at it -in my humble opinion-.

My CS guru was Rolando a.k.a (Rolo: https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/ariasgrolando). We were flatmates in Madrid, he introduced me CS, his experiences; we then started hosting people from different countries and share amazing moments.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I discovered the app through my flatmate and lived the experience of hosting travellers, wich was really nourishing and interesting. Starting in CS was a way to push our limits, get out of our comfort zone and connect with different souls, being opened to live new experiences.

We don't just wanna be tourist, we would like to know the places with the eyes of local people.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I Listen to a lot of different stuff, but black music is my jam, loving rap, RnB, Soul music, blues, but also like techno, reggae, folk, dnb, latin music, psychodelic rock...
I'm also interested in avant-garde kind of music, different from the mainstream and getting curious in vaporwave, synthwave and retrowave lately.

Cinema: Pulp fiction, Dallas buyers club, Wise Guys, Interstellar, Relatos salvajes, Drive, Whiplash, Lost in translation…

Inbetween our multiple gifts, abilities and talents (just joking) we can cook you some dishes or help you cooking, show you plenty of music great artists, tell you bad jokes, make you discover spanish artists, nice movies, teach you some Spanish or French and teach you some guitar or ukulele basics, for example.

Sonia can also tell you funny, incredible and sometimes disgusting experiencies through her journey as a nurse working at a public hospital.
