About Me

Hi.
My name is Adrian and I can't believe how lucky I was when I arrived here for the first time. This is exactly the place I've been looking for through my whole life and I'm glad I quickly adapted to this wonderful idea.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After a couple of couchsurfing experiences, I value how wonderful people you can meet here and how you can taste the other countries' culture from the angle you would not be able to achieve as a regular tourist.

Interests

Plenty of them. From gaming, through music I play (on guitar) or listen: rock, metal, funk, stoner, classical, sometimes even indie, jazz or blues, movies, reading books, some philosophy (big Alan Watts fan here) and I can go on for a really long time.

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to music, I can't really put my taste in a box. Depending on my current mood, I can switch between Dave Brubeck, Tool, Jamie xx and David Bowie. So it's next to impossible for us not to get along musically :). In terms of books, there was a period when I spent improper amount of time reading fantasy novels, but one of my resolutions for 2016 was to reduce this number in order to get to know with more diverse genres. That turned out pretty well and I would say that right now my focus lays on non-fiction books, even some philosophical ones.

I also watch plenty of movies, although my counter kind of stopped recently and that is probably due to limited amount of time I can give to entertainment during my university years. So far, I've seen a decent amount of films and I have to place "Heat", "In the Name of the Father", 80% of Scorsese's work and "Interstellar" in my absolute top.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have a couple of stories to tell, but it would be silly to just give them up here, right?

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Scotland, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
