Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Have done couch surfing over the years with my previous housemates, have always enjoyed the people we meet and connections created. Have stayed with couch surfers whilst travelling overseas, would like to begin my own account and start doing the same here in Australia in our beautiful city, Brisbane in QLD!! :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteering in Africa for a month in 2012 and raising funds to fund the trip and donate to the efforts in an under-privelidged community. Working everyday in the local hospital and primary school to upgrade their facilities, and provide basic education and health care they otherwise would not have had. Have travelled America, Fiji, Bali, Australia, England, going to Europe this year :) :)

Teach us about your culture - Nothing tells you more about a culture than its food :) Chatting over wine and cooking a meal from your country is the best way to break the ice and learn about a new culture! We will also share our knowledge of our amazing country and city :)

An amazing home with extremely welcoming and hospitable hosts. Great knowledge of the city and enthusiasm to explore/show the city with you :) Depending on the time of your visit, we will take you to local festivities, events, etc.
