About Me

I´m a friendly kind guy who enjoys meeting new people and interacting with others. I´m very open-minded and respectful of people's beliefs and backgrounds. I find different cultures interesting and I see them as learning opportunities. I like teaching, learning, spending time in nature, doing outdoor activities and balancing social life with my inner need to have self-reflection moments. I also love pets, so if you have one, I will surely want to caress them or play with them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I enjoy meeting new people, learning about their lives, sharing about my own life experiences.
I value cultural differences, the uniqueness of individuals and I get to learn from others.

I find it beautiful that people are open to host and be hosted in a human-driven way of contributing to one another through this application. It's the human element and people getting together to support one another what makes me hopeful and happy about humanity.

I haven´t had the opportunity to host through this app yet, but I have done it with friends´ friends and have felt satisfied to have contributed to others in their trips.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love classical music and contemporary classical music.
I also enjoy some pop, reggae, specific folk music and electronic music.
Since I like singing and dancing, I do listen to some maintrain artists.

I watch movies around once or twice a year. I find it a cool art expression and at the same time, I can´t seem to find screens appealing. If someone suggests watching a movie, I´m totally up for it. I like to share time with others. On to the question, my favorite movies are: The peaceful warrior, Premonition and the Harry Potter saga.

I love reading so much. It´s one of my favorite hobbies. The books I treasure the most are The Power of Now, A New Earth, and all the books written by Alice Bailey.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I crossed the border between Argentina and Chile (Patagonia) on foot. On the way back, it got dark, I got lost and when I finally found the way to go, I had to cross a river, which I'd crossed on the outbound trip, but this time, the water surface and current increased because of the moon's influence, so the water level reached up to my waist. It was dangerous and everyone was scared to death,.... one single stumble while crossing would have made us end up in the lake.

Teach, Learn, Share

Help with English practice, teach Qi Gong, share some meals, do fun activities, share stories from trips.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to contribute in some way because I believe letting someone stay in your place is quite a generous gesture.
I can definitely share some good quality time: good stories, meals, English language practice, karaoke time.
I enjoy deep conversations about life, spirituality, philosophy, so this is something I´d love to share with hosts.
I also like to include hosts in some of my plans when traveling.
