About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To be the first to divide 1 by 0

ABOUT ME

I think my other parts of the profile will describe me a lot better than me trying to conjure some description of myself... well.. if I had to put something... ummm.. I'm slow, lazy, and cannot count to 10. Sometimes I mix up left with right but I can grill a mean steak!

PHILOSOPHY

Discipline.

Okay, I sound boring but I'm not! (Just ask my mother). But I do think that discipline is one of the key foundation to a happy life. Learn a new language? Run a marathon? Fly an airplane? Travel to another country? I want to learn and do everything that this world has to offer. No way that's going to happen in one day.

Yet it's the journey to the goal that is the exciting part! The ups & downs, the eureka moments, the frustrations, the fears, overcoming challenges, etc that really creates the experiences, stories and satisfaction in life. One may not even reach their goal because they discovered some new passion! One day I was learning jiu-jitsu, blinked my eyes and the next day I was learning how to shoot models at a photo shoot (shoot with a camera... not a gun....).

Yeh it's not easy and I'm no master at it myself but I do try... unless it's Friday night...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Does passing out on your buddy's couch after a night of belligerent drinking count as "couchsurfing experience"? If so, I'm an expert at that. Otherwise, I'm new to the couch-surfing world...

(damn you tequila... *shakes fist*)

Music, Movies, and Books

Big fan of electronic music and it's various flavours. The trance types are great for helping me stay "in the zone" when I work on projects and the more up-beat types, I use to help wake up and energize. If I had to pick my current favourite artist, it would be The Glitch Mob.

Movies... I'm a kid at heart... Monsters Inc, How to Train Your Dragon and Kung-Fu Panda. Other films I've enjoyed lately: Wolf of Wall Street, Captain Phillips, and Rush. Die Hard, James Bond (Pierce Brosnan) and The Rock are classics.

Books wise, I seem to have found myself to enjoy totalitarianism type books. 1984, Battle Royale, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Rented an airplane with some friends and we flew through a meteor shower. It was a truly a unique experience with some shooting stars being so bright, it lit up parts of the cockpit. Pretty sure everyone was busy awing at the amazing view instead of watching the flight controls... Meh... we made it home alive.
