ABOUT ME

I'm a 21 years old German student being in my exchange year in South Carolina. Best thing about that is meeting new people from all over the world every day. Beside that I like sports, so I got recently my Open Water Diver certification and did soccer a long time, as well as snowboarding or recreational climbing. During my time here I finally learned the American Football rules and since I understand this game I enjoy a lot watching the games and of course the huge events when the Clemson Tigers have a home game!
Beside music or a good book I enjoy exploring new sites, cities, landscape and cultures, including food and the way of life of the locals I meet there.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

The first time I heard about CouchSurfing was when a bunch of people from my university came back from a trip to Chicago. Their experiences with their hosts where so nice that I want to try this, too. Also I would be very proud of presenting my beautiful hometown Erlangen (Bergkirchweih in May!) to open-minded travellers! So I'm looking very forward to the experiences we'll have sharing our couches!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The time I'm currently in: my year abroard at Clemson University, SC. Not only that summer feeling but also the people that are so completely different from everyone I met before.
Some roadtrips in America from Toronto to Denver or at the West Coast make me looking forward to the next trip at the East Coast in December!
After all the trips there's one more time in the year I really enjoy: the summercamp near Neumarkt, Germany where that we set up every year in August for a bunch of 10 to 14 year old kids. Enriches my life :-)

Teach, Learn, Share

As I'm a soccer referee I can tell you a lot about that. I would enjoy discussing summer camps or outdoor activities as well. Already some time ago, but I still like it: ballroom dancing. But I'm also interested in the things other people do!
