ABOUT ME

i just finished studying and had no idea what to do so i'm currently taking time off to travel the world and trying to make sense of my life i.e what i want to do with it. i have an outgoing personality, i'm generally quite laid back. i don't take myself too seriously and i don't get offended easily.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i've only just begun to participate in couch surfing. i'm looking forward to experiencing different cities from the point of view of locals. i feel as though i'll get a deeper more genuine encounter that way. when i'm finally back home i look forward to repaying others and giving anyone i've met a place to stay and a taste of my life in sydney.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i haven't had any couch surfing experience yet but this space will be updated soon.

兴趣

i enjoy basic things, the laid back lifestyle in sydney, looking through the markets in my local area, visiting cafe's, swimming in the harbour side pool near my house. laying out on my deck and tanning. i like obscure films and bad reality tv shows. seinfeld (especially george). food, i have a wide taste in food.

i like movies by dario argento, gregg araki, john waters and jim jarmusch among others. some of my favourite movies are synecdoche new york, phenomena, nowhere, the dreamers, strangers with candy. i also like bad horror movies. my favourite movie ever is beaches.

some music i like: galaxie 500, pulp, cat power, fugazi, the make up, mercury rev, pinback, gang of four, smog, spiritualized.

i like books by bret easton ellis and anything by david or amy sedaris. i just read a confederacy of dunces by john kennedy toole which was amazing. books by j.d salinger, franny and zooey as well as catcher in the rye. other books i like 1984, down and out in paris and london and of mice and men.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

the most amazing experience of my life was going to Africa with my mum and brother. my mum grew up in Kenya and it was the first time she had been back there in twenty years. Visiting my mum's old neighbourhood and going on safari in Tanzania are two things that i will never forget.
