Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I always liked the idea of couchsurfing, signed up in 2013, back then I haven't had many possibilities to travel by my own. Fortunately things changed now. I think that travelling is not only sightseeing, the best part is to get to know new people & new cultures. I often travel alone, so CS makes me feel less alone.

Interests

I like taking photos, some say they're good, but that's because my friends are too kind. I always wanted to learn to play guitar and piano. I have some basics skills, but I am lazy AF. So I substitute playing an istrument with going to concerts / festivals. I am a language freak, besides my native language I speak English and Italian with no problem, have very good written french, know the basics of Swedish (thanks English!) and Spanish (thanks Italian and French!). Back in the high school I even took Japanese classes, level - basics of the basics, but I can read hiragana fairly well. I enjoy cycling, hiking, rope climbing. I can stroll for hours, preferably from the sunset to the sunrise. Wish there was more nature in the cities. Last but not least I am into architecture and urbanism!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmmm... I think I am still waiting to do this ONE AMAZING THING. I mean, it really depends on one's POV. I sincerely hope that my 7 weeks in US and MX will change that. So as for now I can't narrow it to just one thing, there are thousands of little things that made me who I am.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am always up to learn something new! My head is full of random facts, beware if I start sharing it can be annoying. I fight with misconception that my motherland - Poland - is like Russia's Siberia. I spread love to my country and encourage people to visit.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A game of Mau Mau always breaks the ice! I usually don't say no to a drink or two, or eleven. I've got some cooking skills, can make an italian lasagne. Let's share our travel experience!
