Overview
About Me
I was born in the state of Rio de Janeiro, but early I won the world. I studied at the University of São Paulo, I graduated in History. When I finished the university, I lived one year in London. I did my master's degree in History of capoeira in Salvador, where I lived for over 14 years. I taught Brazil's history in the Bahia State University. I am capoeira, cyclist and practice yoga. I could say my strongest feature is my smile. I am very communicative, cheerful and I love to make friends with interesting people. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I discovered couchsurfing recently through a friend who lives in Salvador and has received interesting people from different parts of the world. I am applying because I love traveling, meeting new people with an open mentality and different cultures. This will be a way to do all this in a economic way. Soon I will be also open to receive people in my apartment in Salvador.
Interests
The thing I like most in life is to travel! I am student of african-Brazilian culture. Cyclist and capoeira. I do yoga (hatha). I like reading, cooking, going to the cinema and I'm also quite adventurous. Free and libertarian!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
For me an important thing I did was writing a book about the history of capoeira in the capital of Bahia entitled "Mandinga, Manha e Malícia".

Teach, Learn, Share
I speak Portuguese of Brazil and English, so I can help you practice this language. I studied english, but I'm note very good. Today I learn french and would love someone to practice conversation of these both languages. I teach about the history of capoeira and also to ride a bike! Ah, I dance "samba" and I am also a capoeirista, so we can dance and play toguether, if you like!
What I Can Share with Hosts
My permanent residence is in Salvador/Bahia/Brazil, but now I live in a very small apartment in Paris, which unfortunately can not receive guests. But I am a good company and I can help you to know this city that I'm also discovering. Soon I will be back to Salvador, where I can receive hosts at home that is very near the beach.
