Overview
About Me
I’m a SW developer and a Computer Science student with a strong passion for everything tech exists in this world and a genuine faith in how far technology could go; on the other hand, studying Ancient Greek, Latin and Philosophy taught me how important is to never leave the sight of our past, our story, our human values, even (and mostly) when society is moving to a sadly rising depersonalization.
Perfectly in line with my nerdy attitude, I love losing myself in books and binge-watching TV Shows: I used to love fantasy stories, but now I’m more into philosophy, religion and personal growth, even if I like to read some Narrative occasionally, mostly when I have troubles to sleep.
I was a passionate believer in human legitimacy to eat meat, but after finding out the tremendous life of animals for slaughters in those big industries, I’ve never be able to eat meat again: now I'm a full-time vegetarian (vegan wannabe, maybe)
I’m in a life-long search to grow my spiritual dimension: I grow up surrounded by catholic values, even if my parents are atheists, and I’ve embraced catholic faith for a long part of my life - but it never has been enough: maybe Buddhism is nearest to my spirit, but I’m still wondering and searching for a fuller laic spirituality.
I'm a scout (please don't say to me "Oh, a BOY scout", cause no, I'm no boy), I love nature and I whish I had more time to go camping. I love staying with children and scouting is just the perfect combo.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m feeling this growing need to meet new people, enrich my knowledge of the human kind, facing cultures far away from mine: I’m realizing how reading others stories isn’t enough, how important is to feel inside of you what you see and hear and touch of the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Dropping Med school to follow my real passion: computer science.
(Once I’ll come out to my parents, I’ll probably change this part.)
Teach, Learn, Share
I could give you free lesson on how to cook pasta properly or how to make a real, strong coffee! 😃
I’m thinking to a goal: learning at least one new thing from every host il meet (hoping to leave something positive, too!)
I’d love to share the little experience I have of the world, the culture of my country and my believes.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Some tasty Sicilian food!
(after eating that you’ll hate me, ‘cause you’ll never be able to consider something “good” again 😎)
