ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm adriana, from Madrid, always interested in good conversation to get to know other cultures/ways of thinking.

I work in Marketing and my bf is a german teacher in Spain - we met in Poland while were both living in Wroclaw and after 5 years we are getting married.

While i am more a "home" person/ book worm style, he is much more outgoing and loved visiting football stadiums and watching football. We have a lot of merchandising of Hertha Berlin (his club) at home 😀

I love EVERYTHING about travelling: not only the trip itself but the preparation. I love reading literature from the country, watching movies, listening to the music... a 360 view of the country to tey to understand it a bit more :) When I'm travelling, I like to plan everything, but on the other hand, I'm opened to sudden surprises!! And my camera will capture all of those instants (she goes everywhere with me)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never had any experience with Couchsurfing before, although I have a couple of friends (hosting and hosted) from my Erasmus who did it a lot of times and they always encouraged me to do it!

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: i like to read marketing books, John Steinbeck & Oscar Wilde are my favourite authors. I love preparing in advance for a trip reading a lot of authors from that country. Last year before we travelled to Japan i read many books about the country. Now i just started qith Iran! (Any recommendation is more than welcomed)

Movies: i have a thing with Charles Chaplin movies, Kurosawa, Coppola...

I do not watch many tv shows, however we are big fans of Friends and The Amazing race

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I can teach you to dance "sevillanas" and La Macarena 💃I am not the best cook, but i can show you how to mame a traditional recipe. Would love to learn the same from your country too.

Learn: I like to learn about the history of you city/area, what is not written in books, anything!

Share: good mood, happiness, smile! 😊
