ABOUT ME

In 2014 I lived in Lyon France for the year and that really opened my eyes to many things. Since my year overseas I have seen many places and met amazing people. I love to meet new people and talk about anything like music, movies, animals, pop culture - it all works for me
I love to have fun - simple, but true. I try to be adventurous and do something crazy when I get the opportunity (but I do have limits) or do the exact opposite and just relax and chill.
I'm a happy person and love being around people that are just carefree, because no one wants to be alone all the time.
My year abroad let me get out of my comfort zone, and do those things that I know I will remember for a lifetime.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

At the moment, no couch surfing experience of staying with someone, but have spent days with different hosts who have showed me their cities, in the limited times I had. I have also had the privilege to host once officially.

I only hear positive things about couch surfing, so why not try it?

Interests

My favourite season is winter. I am trying to explore the most beautiful winter destinations when I can and see whatever I can during that time.
I will eat ice cream/gelato whenever or wherever because it is just greatwhat more can i say.
I love animals - I am a cat person. But, anything fluffy or fury works for me.

Music, Movies, and Books

I claim to be a movie buff, but i'm not. I've just watched a lot of movies, and there are still so many more to be seen, even some of those classics that you think everyone has already seen.. well, there is a chance i may not have seen it yet. Oh, and i'm a sucker for cliché romantic comedies, seriously, they do no wrong. But other favourites are the various surperhero movies, ie. Batman, who doesn't love batman.
Music, i love it. I'm becoming more interested and more aware of what is out there, give me a song and i will listen to it.. indie, alternative, rock, pop and depending on the circumstance, jazz always goes down a treat. Beyonce, Alt-J, Chet Faker, Asgeir, Frank Ocean, The xx, Kanye West, Miguel, Pharrell.. some of my faves.
Books, i want to read more but for the moment i read when i can.. a current read is Gone Girl and Harry Potter (french version) but that one is taking a lot longer to get through.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Roadtripping through Iceland, witnessing the landscapes, the waterfalls, the icelandic horses, black sand beaches and Geysir's and doing it with my best friend and two lovely guys we met in our hostel. Has to have been one of the most memorable and unforgettable things I've done in my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

We can exchange music and I can also teach you an irish jig, there may have been a time in my life when i did Irish dancing.

I can offer basic french and croatian words or phrases and someone to drink a good glass of wine with. I'm always keen to explore, so whether it is the place i'm living or you're living we should go find a cool bar thats hidden in the side walk somewhere.
