About Me
CURRENT MISSION
*to be able to go to sleep with a smile on my face, feeling I did something not good, but great.
ABOUT ME
hmm.. mix in a blender some vanilla ice-cream with a short, hippie, a bit clueless, dreamer/idealist chick. add some "lemon drops" Ray Charles style.. maybe some gummy bears here and there to give it some color. add one multi-cultural Milky Way crushed into pieces, with some secret ingredient strange enough to make you curious about it. SHAKE IT! Eat the cherry on top. and there! you kind of got me :)
PHILOSOPHY
I believe life is about balance & trying to make the difference with every little thing that we do.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm open to meeting people & helping with facts or the stuff I know about Panama as much as I can.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I had a couple of couchsurfers staying in my house before (my brother does CS) but I had never done it myself. After meeting such interesting people and realizing how amazing the CS concept is, I decided to give it a try.

-- harvesting cacao and learning the process of making chocolate in a community of Bocas del Toro, Panama.
-- participating on an indigenous Guna Congress Meeting, inside a hut, with the chiefs laying on the hammocks in the center listening carefully to the speaker while almost falling asleep.. surrounded by a whole crowd of community members.
-- feeding a kangaroo and seeing them on the wild.
-- NZ glaciers & their hamburgers
-- eating Peruvian delicious food! mmm...
and whatever comes next!
Teach, Learn, Share
Through my previous job in development work in Panama, I've been able to get to know some really unique spots. If you're interested in visiting some cultural/eco-touristic little known places, let me know. Also, if you plan to tour around the city, I can share with you a -Panama Interesting Facts- sheet that I developed for the volunteers I used to work with.
