ABOUT ME

I'm 27-year old guy from Hamburg.
I've been either working on a ship (which you may or may not count as traveling) and traveling by myself the most part of the last few years.
Due to my job I come to a lot of different countries (unfortunately I never have as much time there as I would like to) and it always fascinates me to experience hospitality and open-mindedness from people who never met me before and I try to return the favor. Especially in places where you don't expect it. It doesn't matter if this happens in a small village in France or a far away place like Buenos Aires. I am always curious about foreign cultures, about how people in different places design their lives and what happens on the streets of another city at day or night.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Surfing only, I spent a month traveling with Interrail and couchsurfing few years ago. Was actually a great experience, met nice people, of which some became friends later on.
Unfortunately, I cannot host a couch as I don't have my own place.

Visited Cape of good hope, Cape horn and the north Cape in the same year.
Also untangled my earphones single handed while riding a bike.

I know a little how to play the guitar or the harmonic, how to do a headstand and can tell some stories how it is onboard of a ship. Not much, but something. Anyway, I am more eager to hear other peoples' stories than to talk about myself.
