Hi there! I never know how to describe myself in these things, but here it goes. I'm currently a college student studying to become a Registered Nurse. I hope to become a travel nurse, to see the world while helping people. That's the DREAM. I love to travel, but not the touristy, tour guided, fanny pack, selfie stick kind of traveling. I'm more of the exploring, doing what the locals do type. I'm also a big fan of camping and hiking and just generally being outdoors. I like meeting new people and hearing their stories, reading, cooking/baking, playing the piano (despite my lack of skills), yoga, coffee, ice cream, and gardening.

Music: my taste is eclectic. I love alt/indie, classic rock, rap, classical. Pretty much everything except country. Some of my favorites are: Daughter, twenty one pilots, the Beatles, Bon Iver, Kendrick Lamar, Chance the Rapper, Bob Dylan, Iron & Wine, Sufjan Stevens, Keaton Henson, Jose Gonzalez, and I'm going to stop now before I get carried away.

Movies: some favorites include Forest Gump, About Time, LaLa Land, Taxi Driver, anything by John Hughes or Hayao Miyazaki, anything with Audrey Hepburn, Up, O Brother Where Art Thou, Say Anything, Amelie.

Books: I love to read. Always have, always will. So here's a short list of favorites: the Great Gatsby (don't tell me that's cliche), Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, The Road, The Fault in Our Stars, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, Night (by Elie Wiesel), All Quiet On The Western Front. Also, I love Walt Whitman.
