My name is Adriana Rojas. My mom is from Venezuela and my dad from Colombia but I was born in Cancún, México.

I'm a very easy going person, I love to have fun. Sometimes I like to go out and have some drinks on the weekends, you are welcome to join me if you want. I don't have a lot of friends because I've realized that you can only keep the important people around you, the ones you can really trust. I work a lot, sometimes I may not have time to hang out but if I do, I'm in. I sleep until late because I work as a singer at night but feel free to hang around the house or start you own personal tour.

When I'm in a new city, I don't like to have a schedule during my time there, I like to walk and get lost, have the need to talk to people to ask for directions. I want to discover how locals live, become one of you even if it's only for a few days, meet your friends if it's possible, and I will do the same if you are staying with me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always felt curious about the world, and meeting people from all over has helped me grow as a person so much. I'm so thankful to have found couchsurfing, it introduced me to a whole new world and I intend to keep on learning from all of you guys.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite writers are Gabriel García Márquez and Isabel Allende. I like reading a lot, sometimes I wish I had more time to do it, I get distracted too easily and if I'm not home alone I just can't read.

I LOVE movies, I could stay all day watching movies and I'd be happy, my favorite director is Lars Von Trier. My favorite movie of all times is The Lion King, yes I like Disney 😁 I have a small collection of DVDs, if you want to watch a movie just ask, I can guarantee I won't say no.

Music is a huge part of my life, I just can't stand living without it. Adele has become one of my biggest inspirations, her voice is truly something special. I also love Bob Marley and some other reggae bands from latin america such as Gondwana and Cultura Profética. I'm really into beautiful voices but sometimes I need some heavy metal in my life, like old school hard rock, I love AC/DC and Guns and Roses. Oh! I forgot to mention that I also like salsa, so if you want to go dancing, I'm your gal.
