I love to host people that are openminded and into spirituality/life/nature.

Another suggestioon is to try Trustroots, BeWelcome and Couchers. They are real free networks for travelers. Couchsurfing was free and community centred but it became a for profit and went downhill from around 2009. I was Moderator for Australia, but I actually get couch surfing request about once a month. So message me here and on my phone if you want to stay in our guest room and enjoy Townsville.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

I like helping people, it makes me happy. I like meeting people. I like learning what motivates people and how we are similar in some ways but totally different in others.

BIG TIPS:

Everyone has their different motives.
I strongly suggest trying to find out the person's motive before surfing/hosting. Is it:
-Free accommodation, Friendship, Desire, Language exchange, Culutral exchange, Something to do/try, or maybe they simply love sharing their big house cause it's big and they want company.
Everyone has their motives. By determining motives you can increase safety and your experiences. :-)
Me, I think it can be fun through meeting people, there is so much opportunity to learn, share, care.
