About Me

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

i love meeting people with different ideas from different places.

Interests

the world: i try to keep my wonder, learn as much as i can about almost anything and anytime. i'm especially interested in psychology, biology, sociology, arts, anthropology, media, digital disruptions and technology in general. check my latest articles i've read on twitter.

snowboarding: during winter i spend a lot of time in the snow. it's all about nature, and having fun with your friends.

discussion: i love having debates and discussions about anything. i often feel the urge to inject some grey colours whenever it's too black and white and a perspective or an argument is left out.

cooking: to me, making dinner is a social event, and often i invite friends over and we cook a meal together. i love eating good food and if it's prepared by yourself and your friends it's even better.

music: i'm a drummer and pianist (not professional). i like all kind of music, from classic stuff to jazz, pop, techno and dancing into the mornings.

photography: i love capturing moments that kind of contain more then what you obviously see. check my tumblr blog or photo albums on facebook for some snaps.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

one memorable moment was, when i was on a roadtrip with a friend and he left for military service in switzerland. suddenly i was in a foreign country not knowing anybody around me. i thought about pretending to be someone else but i couldn't figure out who i'd like to be. i started questioning the concept of "having an identity" and so on. i guess this was a crucial moment of discovery to my passion for traveling and exploration. every trip confronts you with new things, you then can embed into your "identity".
