About Me

New to couch surfing as I've fueled my travelling via wwoofing and volunteering and the like, figure this may be a little less work ;)

I'm from Vancouver BC, a wicked lovely, dark and depressing, beautiful and vibrant, deadly expensive and well tucked in natures folds kind of town. As lovely as it is, my home's the world entirely.

I'm an artist; I write, I make music, and dabble an occasional jab at visuals too. Mostly I spend my time digging humans and our natural counterpart, nature. The wild. The outdoors! Ah yes what a world we have.

I'm extremely easy going and most people suggest my optimism leans toward the absurd, but that's all right :)

Hoping to meet the world and in it find my family in every nook, cranny, cave and café, corner bar stool and well groomed garden, no matter what shape, style or face, I reckon we've all got something beautiful to share.

Peace and love all ways.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Get to experience the world. The people, the locals; as a traveller there's no one better to meet when arriving in a new place.

Interests

If you're curious bout me let's have a conversation!

Music, Movies, and Books

Gimme jazz, gimme metal, gimme blues and hip hop, gimme opera, gimme classical, gimme noise and slow old folk country tales. I'll take it all in step and maybe a shimmy too.
Read quite a bit of poetry now, but mostly spent my time in fantasy and sci fi, very reflective of my writing.
Wes Anderson all the way. Independant films are good. Support your local film fest, that's where the real stories are being told.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Having travelled so much I've learned to see differences in people and places, but more amazingly the similarities and the way all humans are connected in some way or another under our crudely adorned surfaces.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn as many languages as possible, I can offer French, English, and an ever improving German.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer you live music, perhaps an entertaining conversation over tea and coffee (or wine if you're into that), and an exuberance for life that forces its way from my absurd grin that has a hard time staying hidden.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Costa Rica, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Iceland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Nepal, New Zealand, Philippines, Spain, Thailand, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
