About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Fitness, good food and lifestyle are the main priorities'

ABOUT ME

Laid back. Always up for some fun. Keen to meet new peoples and get out there and see what the world has to offer. I divide my spare time between books, fitness, skating, cooking, studying and simply getting out and enjoying the paradise that is Airlie Beach.

PHILOSOPHY

Adversity introduces a person to themselves

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately my time for hosting CSers has come to an end, for now. However, I have decided to embark on the trip to Europe i have been talking about for what feels like such a long time. So with a bag packed and a rough plan of what i want to get accomplished i am going to try this CS life share thing from the other side of the fence, as the hostee. I am happy to cook and shout a few beers/wines. So if you could help out it would be much appreciated. Thanks ;-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It has been wicked awesome. People have been really easy to get along with and have been heaps of fun. I've learnt so much and have plenty of ideas for things to see and do now that i am travelling.

Interests

Fitness!!!! Exercise is the chosen lifestyle. The half ironman was pretty intense but very glad I did it. Lots of gym, heaps of running, plenty of road biking and squad swimming to round it off. Cooking is obviously a big thing with all the fitness and not to sound cocky, but i'm getting raaaaather good at it. I love to read, high fantasy series mainly. A bit of computer gaming here and there as well to keep the inner boy child well nourished.

Music, Movies, and Books

Any high fantasy books really. They are fairly light reading but good fun.
Ive got a massive collection of movies/series and will pretty much watch anything ( except twilight and twilight-esc movies. Including vampire diaries. I mean lets face it, a vampire story with minimal blood and sex simply doesnt cut the mustard ).
As far as the music goes, oz hip hop, hardcore, rock, punk, easy listening and a bit of the electronic stuff.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Packing up my bag, buying a one way ticket and moving to Queensland to start again with absolutely nothing but what i could carry. Leaving everything and everyone behind. Best thing I ever did. I learnt the true value of family, friends and what it is to live with out.

Teach, Learn, Share

Don't hold back or delay because you don't know or are unsure, most of the important lessons are learnt along the way.
