Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It is an interesting service that connects people who like places and people instead of ready traveling packages and hotels.
I find it interesting to get to an unknown place and meet unknown native people, but who are part of a group and thus know a little more about that place, customs, people. I find this much more interesting than hotel, taxi, expected places.

Achei interessante um serviço de conectar pessoas que gostam de lugares e pessoas bem mais que pacotes e hotéis.
Acho interessante chegar a um lugar desconhecido e encontrar pessoas nativas desconhecidas, porém que fazem parte de um grupo e assim conhecer um pouco mais daquele lugar, dos costumes, das pessoas. Acho isso bem mais interessante que hotel, táxi, locais certos.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I received and hosted people during the World Cup games. It was not directly through Couchsurfing, but, yes, by a friend who received many requests and asked me to help him with some friends he did for the service.

Recebi e hospedei pessoas durante os jogos da Copa do Mundo. Não foi diretamente pelo Couchsurfing, mas, sim, por um amigo que recebeu muitas solicitações e pediu-me para ajudá-lo com uns amigos que ele fez pelo serviço.
