About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy life, live the dream

ABOUT ME
***I'm currently working a seasonal job at a seafood processing plant in Valdez, Alaska. The season will be ending soon and before I return home, I'd like to explore Alaska a bit. I'm looking for a 2-4 day stay with a cool host that's down to earth, and open to showing me around, going on hikes, having a few beers, shooting the breeze, and things like that. ***

I travel this world in search of nirvana and enlightenment... but I will settle for good beer, cool people, and beautiful memories along the way.

PHILOSOPHY

I'd like to remain curious about the world, and to learn something new everyday. I try to live a balanced life, but this isn't always so easy to do.

For me, it's important to choose paths that will bring me the most freedom and happiness, no matter how out of the ordinary or how foolish people may think I am. I have one life to live and I intend to make it a life worth remembering.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been a member of couchsurfing for more than fifteen years now. My profile is a bit like a time capsule at this point. I've been a long time gone, but I'm back now, and I plan on hosting when I can, and being a guest when the opportunity is there.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing has offered me the opportunity to meet some amazing people that I would not have met doing the traditional hostel/hotel traveling. Likewise, some of my most memorable and fun experiences have been through couchsurfing. It's a great idea that open's the door to enriching opportunities that help make the world a more friendly place.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all types of music, I'm a big reader, but I don't really watch movies all that often.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Deported from Mexico. Deported from England. Hitchhiked Poland thru Romania. Ran with the bulls in Pamplona. Rode bulls in Mexico.

Teach, Learn, Share

What's your story, where are you going and why are you going there?

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good conversations about books and life. I'm laid back, so it's easy for me to conform to others. If a host is quiet, I'm cool with that; if a host is gregarious, I'm cool with that, too 😎

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Mexico, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Mexico, Ukraine, United States
