Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting people who actually live in the places I visit, it's just the absolute best way to travel. For me, traveling is not just about the things I see and food I eat (though those are important too!), but about the people I meet.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music group is the Oh Hello's, but I listen to almost everything. I also really love reading - most recently I've read Homegoing and Exit West, and my favorite book is the Name of the Wind.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During summer 2016 I worked in Somaliland as a math teacher, and I'd say it was pretty amazing.
