About Me

I am a French guy, currently living in a farm in the beautiful region of Périgord. Always trying to be the best version of myself, and have fun on the way.
Right now, I'm doing a bit of this and a bit of that, mostly hitchhiking and writing stories about people I meet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet new people with interesting lives and stories to share. I would also love to have a deeper understanding of the different cultures all across Europe, especially food-related.

If i can meet people to play football, or go climbing, and then have a beer that's the cherry on the pompom.

Music, Movies, and Books

The album Circles from Mac-Miller is a go too, whatever is my mood. But I listen to a lot of Hip-Hop, Funk, Rock, Indie etc. as long as it sounds good, I am eager to hear it.

I try to read as much as possible, and it is hard for me to make a list of my favorite books.
Maybe, The Catcher in The Rye by Salinger, Chess Story by Stefan Zweig or The Trial by Kafka
In French literature, I am a Proustian boy. And Jean Phillippe Jaworski with his "Rois du Monde" should be the next George R.R Martin.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

At sixteen, I experienced a "plane crash", oxygen masks dropping from the ceiling, people panicking, shouting and crying on board. I even saw someone praying in the main alley. I really thought I was going to die.
This, for me, clearly changed, at a very young age, my way of considering life and the value with place on certain things.

Two years ago, i went and travelled all over Europe, hitchhiking only, from my farm in France to Estonia, 108 people,11 countries crossed and more than 5000km later, i was an expert about meeting, greeting and having fun with so many different persons.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am slowly building a theory on how cooking is similar to musical composition, with its own chords, melodies, percussion and superposition of sounds.

I can also talk about energy, and its uses across history, as it was my main subject at the end of my academic years.

I want to improve my knowledge of nature. Especially the wild plants useful for human consumption
