Hi!

My name is Adrien, I'm 23 and I live in France! I come from Saint Etienne, an industrial town near Lyon, I studied in Grenoble at the foot of the Alps and I've just spent the last six months in Paris. I'm still a student, but I'm currently taking a year's break before entering professional life.

I'm about to leave on my first solo trip and first trip outside Europe: a two-month trip to North India followed by four months in Kathmandu where I'll be working on the ground for a charity.
So I'm looking to get out of my comfort zone, discover a new culture and see new ways of life and new landscapes.
I'm a very curious person, who's always keen to experience new things and meet new people.

French is my mother tongue, but I speak and understand English well and am currently learning German.

Apart from that, I'm very interested in culture: music, cinema, literature... but I especially like passionate people who manage to interest you in subjects where you have little or no knowledge.
I like new things and experiencing things that are emotionally intense.

When I return from South Asia in September 2024, I'll be in Paris for my final year of study! Don't hesitate to write to me if you think you'll be here on that date :)

Música, películas y libros

I am a true culture lover!

I love cinema, especially the films of Tarantino, Darren Aronofsky, or Wes Anderson. I also love genre cinema, I like films that make me live new and original experiences.

In music, I listen to everything! I'm a member of a student electronic music label (house and techno mainly), but otherwise I really listen to everything! Rock, rap, pop, punk, metal, folk/country haha... I'm open to all styles. My latest favourites are Parcels, the Strokes and Les Têtes Raides!

I also love to read, I'm a double degree student at the University of Grenoble in Literature. The books that have marked me the most are : The Perfume by Süskind, The Dharma Bums by Kerouac or Jean de Florette and Manon des sources by Pagnol.

In the summer of 2019, I went with two friends on a two-week trip. We were in a train station with our backpack and we ended up taking a bus to Slovenia.

The destination wasn't really planned from the start and we lived from day to day, carried by the wind. We ended up visiting Slovenia, Croatia and Hungary.

The trip was short but very intense, we were on the road a lot and changed cities almost every day. We slept in youth hostels and met many young people who, like us, decided to disconnect for a summer!

It was my first real trip and it is still my best life experience.
