After having spent many years in various universities studying quite abstract although captivating subjects, I set out to go traveling and volunteering on small farms in Italy to learn ecological practices and other self-sufficiency skills such as permaculture, green construction, recycling, repairing, DIY, etc. I'm impatient to take part in these life-changing projects and to discover new, alternative lifestyles that are more respectful to the environment and to our fellow human beings.

For one reason only: it's free. No, I'm joking! But I'd be lying if I said that it didn't count at all! I think it's a particularly interesting experience and inspiring concept. You're one click away from meeting people around the world who are willing to share with you their every-day life, their culture and their living environment. I'd love it if you could show me around and take me to your best spots in town! And I'm not the kind of person to leave without giving a little something to my host. Who knows, may be I'll be hosting you when I become a host myself!

Interests

I like cooking good food while listening to good music. I like eating good food while watching a movie. I like reading while sipping a cappuccino. I like chilling out and having engaging conversations while sharing a fresh drink in a warm, sunny place. I like hiking among trees, rocks, mountains and villages. Summing up, what I like the most is to learn new ideas, meet new people and share experiences. What's more to life than that?

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kinds of music, especially acoustic music, but I'm good with electronic music too! Play anything that has a groovy vibe or a touch of jazz, and I'll be the happiest man in the world!
I tend to prefer movies and cinema than series and Netflix. But I'll make an exception for Breaking Bad and its prequel series Better Call Saul. La crème de la crème.
I use to read boring academic books and articles about history, science or politics, which aren't exactly fit for casual conversations at parties, but which are my preferred reading topics.

Do I have anything to teach? Tough question! I can certainly help you with your French! I can share with you some good recipes from around the world that I've learnt over the years, especially French, Italian, Lebanese, Moroccan or Indian (my favourites).
