About Me
I'd like to describe myself as someone who loves travelling, but then sometimes I'm not sure if I love it or do it because it just feels right.
I'd like to describe myself as an outgoing and friendly person, but then sometimes it's just not my day.
I'd like to describe myself as someone who's curious about EVERYTHING, but then often everything gets too big and I just end up slacking.
In short, I don't really know how to describe myself. However, I do know I'm a pretty simple and accommodating guy, so I'm sure we can get along and have a fun time! Especially if we have wine. But I'm fine without. But it would be nice to share some.
Originally from the South of France, I've been based in beautiful Brighton for the past couple of years. However at present I'm traveling through France and about to head towards Southern Europe for the winter. Therefore I am, sadly, unable to host anyone until I settle down again... :(
Currently traveling with this girl, who's very sweet and easy-going too!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Really like the idea of bringing back to life the age-old concept of hospitality. Also seems like a great way to actually learn about regional lifestyles, and get a new perspective on the country. :)
Had a few Couchsurfing experiences in France, surfing with someone else (using her account too)... And everyone we met through it was super nice so hey why not keep them coming!
Interests
I'm kind of curious everything, my interests vary depending on the mood...
Especially interested in social sciences (mainly social psychology and sociology), although I'm by no means knowledgeable on these. Just trying to educate myself as best I can. :)
I enjoy reading and hearing some new perspectives about Life, the Universe and Everything.
Of course that's pretty standard for CS, but I quite like travelling too, and am always keen on seeing some new places (cities, nature, wastelands, I'm not picky). My bucket list is getting so long it's scary.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: depends on the mood. Some favourites are the Beatles (surprise, surprise), Chris Thile, RADIOHEAD!, Tool, the Dandy Warhols, Primus etc etc.
Books: HARUKI fucking MURAKAMI !! Anything by this guy is just awesome.
Terry Pratchett ("Carpe Jugulum", "Thief of Time" etc., the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Knut Hamsun's "Hunger" are great too. Or any interesting non-fiction.
Movies: Silence of the Lambs (great on a first date!), DEMOLITION MAN!, Delicatessen, Le Tout Nouveau Testament, and other things I can't remember right now.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Stayed clinically sane in such a confusing world. Yay me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I don't think I know much, but I can bring you a new perspective on things! And wine. I can bring wine.
I'd be keen to learn more about urbex, crafts and survival skills... You never know when the zombie apocalypse will come.
And everything else too, but have to start somewhere. ;)
Would be sweet to learn or swap some new recipes too!
What I Can Share with Hosts
More than happy to cook and share the food with you! I can help clean your place while I'm here too, if you want (got pretty used to it whilst working in hostels around Europe). :)
And of course good vibes, good chats, and good (well cheap but cheap is good sometimes) wine!
