About Me

ABOUT ME

I have always enjoyed to backpack around the world. I have travelled to around 20 countries in Europe, America, Africa, Asia, India and Middle East. I am willing to keep on discovering new cultures and people and to learn from them. That definitely makes me happy.

PHILOSOPHY

I do believe there are 2 ways to discover a city.
The first one using some Lonely Planet stuffs and visit what is adviced as "to do" things. I think you can learn about the city. Although you meet many great people, you have little chance to bump into people happy to share about their own city.
I'd like now to discover cities and countries through people and experiences. I am not so sure the Lonely Planet could help me to do so. That's why I joined Couchsurfing: to get new opportunities and participate in the way people behave in a city.

Music, Movies, and Books

In terms of music, pretty much everything. I am really a music fan. I spend lots of time on the internet blogging and listening to music. I enjoy classic Rock&Roll bands (van Morrison, Beatles, R. Stones, Doors, Velvet, Clapton, Dylan,...) as well as more recent one (the National, Arcade Fire, Strokes, MGMT, etc). I am also keen on Rap (US and French), electronic music and old R&B such as James Brown or Charles Bradley for instance.

I have read some of the some influent French authors but I am pretty poor when it comes to international litterature. I would be more than happy to learn and discuss about it!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The last great travel I enjoyed was last summer, I walked up at 6.400 meters in the very North of India. Fantastic experience.
