About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Make it work.

ABOUT ME

Hi CS,

I see myself as a "born global" and I'm thrilled to join our wonderful community. I was born 1 week after the fall of the Berlin wall, grew up with the EU, lived and worked within Schengen. I make the best of it and try to live in foreign countries as much as possible. Who ever said all of this would ever last?

I nurture my youth and destiny just like my (future) vegetables; Slowly but surely. I studied in France and Germany and I'm now working in Prague in the Procurement branch - aka.: "I buy things!".
Working as an employee is not my objective in life, at all. I'd much rather develop activities/businesses and teach at University to be honest. I still need/want to gather experiences.

I'm 24 years old, French and Scottish. I'm easy going, always in for a laugh and adapt myself to whatever comes up with pleasure. Even though my favourite topic is "the state of the world", I'm into discussing all sorts of things and making the people around me feel as comfortable as possible.
I don't really believe in good or bad, right or wrong, nor in any kind of axis of evil of equivalent theories! It's all very relative. So, I'm ready to listen to all the things you feel like sharing without judging, doesn't mean I'll always agree though!
I like spending time informing myself (forget about mass-media) and getting to discover new topics. I'm a little bit (r)evolutionary and "pissed-off"; It must be said. You know what I mean if you've spent sometime with French people before! I speak-out loud, with passion, every-now and then. Makes you feel alive doesn't it?

I was lucky (and did my best!) to be able to live in Ireland, in different places in Germany and now in the Czech Rep. My next objective is to learn Russian and keep on moving around for a "while". I feel blessed I could learn to speak 3 languages and I don't intend to stop there ;)

PHILOSOPHY

- It depends
- If you've nothing nice to say, just say nothing (Mama)
- Do your best, and a little bit more (Papa)
- Wisdom is greater than silver and gold
- The only thing you have is time
- Both infinities, small and big, must meet somewhere

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can host and be hosted (both for a couple of days). I can teach languages to already kind of proficient speakers(Fr. En. and German to a certain extent) and take you out to Prague to see/do whatever you want. We can also meet up and spend time together.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Can't wait to gather some.

Music, Movies, and Books

1) I'm not the biggest music freak even-though my headphones and/or speakers are plugged in 24/7. I simply don't go looking for novelties often-times but my ears are wide opened. I tend to listen to "all time classics" or quality new artists (mostly US...somehow) like, The black keys, Franck ocean etc.

Most importantly, I like to listen to talent. The genre is almost secondary in this perspective. I'm into reggae right now (and the Jamaican history.) after getting bored/out of a "Hip-hop/Soul phase". I'm slowly but surely starting to listen to more Rock. Jazz and "background" music have always been things I've enjoyed.

In case you're a curious mind, you can check this cool radio that I listen to in the car in France:

2) I'll list you the latest books I ordered on Amazon today:
- Making Globalization Work
- A Country Is Not a Company
- The Return of Depression Economics And The Crisis Of 2008
- A Russian-English Dictionary
And a couple of previous readings:
- Technique de la Non-violence (nous aussi sommes suspects)
- China Threat?

3) The latest documentaries/films I've watched include:
- The four horsemen
- The act of killing
- Many docs about nuclear energy (Thorium, waste disposal, industry structures/powers...)
- Many docs about permaculture (I'll let you check this one out)
- I could go on for ages, Everything is interesting.

For more information, feel free to ask the NSA for my browser's history ;)
