Overview
About Me
Konnichiwa, and welcome to the bustling business hub of Osaka!
Having lived in this city for 6 years, I can take you to some hidden gems where tourists don't often tread.
My Japanese is passable so no need to worry about the language barrier. ;)
I'm a vegetarian, who cares in equal amounts about my body and the environment so can point you in the direction to some good, healthy food grown from local sources.
As a freelancer, I model and teach English in cafes, while enjoying Couchsurfing as a cool hobby to see more of my city Osaka and meet new people to share stories and have a great time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To host you bright, happy travellers and occasionally be one myself!
I like to help any way that I can. Have a look at my couchsurfing Facebook page for all things related to Osaka: https://www.facebook.com/Couchsurf-Osaka-681234252072663/
Although I live in a VERY small one-room apartment, it is tidy and has all the amenities. I always serve breakfast to guests before heading out for the day and have coffee available as well upon request.
I will give you information for transportation and recommend high-quality places to eat and visit, probably going along with you as well since I enjoy touring my guests around.
I can't wait to meet you!!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Ambient, relaxation, piano, jazz, and acoustic guitar
I like all movies directed by Nolan, Wes Anderson, Guy Ritchie, and SOME from M Night Shyamalan
Some of my favourite books are:
Non-Zero: The Logic of Human Destiny, Norwegian Wood,
Memoirs of a Geisha, The Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin,
The Annotated Alice, Eat Pray Love, Thinking Fast and Slow,
The Personal MBA, Hitchhiker's Guide books, The 4-hour Workweek,
...anything at all by Kahlil Gibran!
and now I love reading excerpts from Deepak Chopra's, Path to Love.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've been fortunate enough to go cliff diving and not hurt myself.
Likewise, I've been fortunate enough to join a pie-eating contest and did not sustain any injuries, except my pride for coming in 3rd place. :P
